"See Things As They Are But Not Worse Than They Are" - Tony Robbins

Nothing makes a problem worse than ignoring it or refusing to talk about it. There is so much relief on the other side of surrender. Surrender in this journey is your power. Accepting the limitations you have in regards to this invisible illness and it's power allows you to reach for help and to receive accesses to resources.
You cannot receive with closed fists. I don't care how much you beat the table, or wall until you recognize your limitations and those of your loved one against this formiddable opponent you will continue to be outsmarted.
Learning as much as you can about the illness, learning about your own self care and staying on top of it, and accepting your "human-ness" can relieve loads of weight as you navigate this journey.
How have you coped with the weight of Caregiving? What are your resources?
